P3 Sports & Recovery will be celebrating with an Official Open Night to kick off the 2017 year. The event will be held at P3 Sports and Recovery, 53-55 Enterprise Ave, Berwick on Friday the 20th of January and is a free event for adults and children.
Kicking off at 3pm this casual event will feature; open access to the the dry and wet therapy areas including recovery boots, magnesium hydro pool and hot and cold spas, fun activities for the kids with a large inflatable footy darts (over 6m high and 7m wide), sign on for term 1 swimming lessons, sign on for the South East Elite Pathways Academy (SEEPA) in-season football and netball 2017 programs and much more.
This event provides a great opportunity for the general public, new and current members to experience the centre in its full capacity and meet with director and owner Austinn Jones, a well renowned AFL St Kilda Football player and talk about his vision for bringing a centre usually reserved for the elite to the general public and local sporting clubs, teams and athletes and the importance of recovery in any training program.
“For over 11 years since retiring from AFL in 2005 and stepping into coaching and development roles, I have been dedicated to helping athletes and teams find their best form. Quite often recovery is an afterthought and not something that is taught in the process of performance and training. Recovery should be a mandatory part of any training regime and not just something that is reserved for the elite, that is why I have partnered up with Travis Marsham to deliver elite recovery facilities to the general public”.
A major prize will be drawn on the night, a 3-month full access wet and dry therapy membership, a session in the Hyperbaric chamber, 5 magnesium bath soak packs, a P3 Sports hat and water bottle, valued at $450. Entry is free to win this amazing prize.
On the night there will also be in-season memberships available to local sporting clubs, teams, and athletes. These will include packages tailored to suit requirements with options available for strength and conditioning, wet and dry therapy, nutrition and team building.
There will be food and light refreshments available for purchase on the night.
